How to Lose Weight
Hopefully by now you've gone to the main page and read the 3 tenets and the chapters on weight loss. This chapter will just be a quick summary of all that to give you a one-page picture of how, in my opinion, weight loss works and should be carried out.
First and foremost before you start anything you need to have the 3 tenets in mind which basically say that anything you do to lose weight must be for the long term (for life), must be enjoyable and must be healthy for you.
Then you need to understand how sugar affects your body and how it is one of the biggest reasons you gain weight. Understanding this will allow you to make the best food choices for fat loss.
Emotional eating is next. The chapter on this topic states that if you do not fully address this, if it is a problem of yours, then no matter what you do you'll probably fail. That is how BIG of a deal this is.
Then I talk about how counting calories is not an exact science and not too put too much focus on it and how the set point theory probably has more influence on your body weight.
Next is some great tips for getting you on track to make the transition easy for you as well as my opinions on exercise and how to effectively do it for weight loss.
There are appendices next but that is essentially it. Of course there is a lot more to discuss and I will be adding new pages/articles to this website every now and again so check back often.
