
If your weight loss plan isn't long term (meaning for life) then it will always fail.
This is a pillar in terms of weight loss principles.
What this means is that any diet that you wish to try MUST be something that you can see yourself enjoying forever AND is healthy. Most diets out there don't fit that criteria so after you have tried them and 'suffered' and willed your way through them you will pretty much be back where you started.
